Summary: | This research focuses on the use of the Literary Dialogical Gathering as a pedagogical strategy to improve critical reading skills in students. It is based on the premise that critical reading is essential for the comprehensive development of students and their active participation in today's society. To carry out this research, a conceptual and theoretical investigation was carried out on the foundations of Critical Reading and the Literary Dialogical Gathering in the selected educational institutions during a certain period. Qualitative and quantitative information was collected, through documentary analysis matrices and surveys, to counteract the findings with the theoretical foundations, which made it possible to establish intersubjective triangulation. From there, a didactic proposal is proposed that involves technological tools mediated by the flipped classroom to strengthen reading competence at a critical level. The Literary Dialogical Gathering is presented as an effective strategy to develop critical reading skills in students. It encourages reflection, dialogue and critical thinking, which contributes to their comprehensive training. The results support the importance of implementing active and participatory pedagogical approaches to improve critical reading and the development of cognitive skills in students |
