Summary:Within the teaching and learning processes of mathematics that are to be implemented in schools in Barranquilla, Colombia; Singapore is the method, and this research paper evidence to understand how this process is unfolding. The objective is to determine the skill level (Procedural, Cognitive and Attitudinal) in teachers 3rd Primary Basic vs. Training in "Singapore Method." The experience arises with reference to two schools and two teachers from 3rd to They received training in Singapore method, in order to contrast it with two others who have not received this type of training. a quantitative approach was used within a positivist paradigm with the quasi-experimental method, resulting in that the level of competence of teachers trained in the Singapore method it is higher compared to traditional strategies such as behaviorism.
