Indicadores psicométricos de la escala multidimensional de trastornos afectivos para adolescentes (emta a1) desde los modelos de la teoría clásica de los test y la teoría de respuesta al ítem

This research aimed to examine the reports of reliability, validity and psychometric indicators from the Classical Test Theory and Item Response Theory of Multidimensional Scale of Affective Disorders for adolescents (EMTA-A1) The sample consisted of 154 adolescents of both genders (female 105 and male: 49), which resided in the municipality of Puerto Colombia (35 subjects) and Usiacurí (65 subjects) and in the city of Barranquilla (54) whose ages ranged between 10 and 19 years. Methodologically it was framed in the empirical-analytical paradigm, the theoretical approach is synthetic analytical, and is considered an instrumental study, given its purpose. To meet the objectives, the administration of the following instruments were made: a) The Multidimensional Scale Affective Disorder (EMTA-A1), b) The Children Depression Inventory (CDI) and c) Scale for Mania National University of Colombia (EMUN). Satisfactory results were reported from both models, from the classical theory of the Test [TCT], reliability indices Alfa high for both subscales (α Cronbach showed: 937 for the depression subscale and α: 864 for the subscale craze) and from item response theory [TRI], high levels of reliability were reported from both subscales. The results significantly fit the theoretical parameters of both models, there is adequate properties of the items. In this study, and as far as we know, it is the first instrument to measure that is designed affective disorders in adolescents population of the Atlantic coast. At the end of the process the EMTA-A1 scale was shown to be a valid and should be considered as a tool capable of evaluating depressive disorders and mania. La present research aimed to examine the reports of reliability, validity and psychometric indicators from the Classical Theory the Test and item response theory of the Multidimensional Scale of Affective disorders for adolescents (EMTA-A1).
