Summary:The human being is a social being by nature who needs others to develop and their acquiring new skills and competences. Through coexistence is reaffirmed the recognition of the others and the abilities of others are valued through the values. The present investigation, titled “Children’s stories as a pedagogical strategy to strengthen the school coexistence in first grade students of I. E. Primero de Mayo” aims at implementing the children’s stories as a pedagogical strategy to strengthen the school coexistence under qualitative research with a experiential-introspective approach which use as techniques and instruments, the observation, semi-structured interview, a focus group with the purpose of getting to know and interacting with the subject of study, teachers, school administrators and parents, and thereby using the reading of stories as a pedagogical strategy that will allow to reduce the conflicts that occur in the students afore mentioned enhancing and strengthening values such as: respect, tolerance, justice and resilience as a constant practice.
