Description
Summary:This research aimed to evaluate biogas production from organic waste generated in the Chapinero sector, specifically in the "Calderón Los Cerezos Forest Park," using the two-phase anaerobic digestion method. This approach, which separates the stages of acidogenesis and methanogenesis, has proven to be a viable tool for the management and valorization of organic waste, optimizing the conditions for each process and improving biogas production. The study delved into the biological mechanisms, operating parameters, and environmental benefits associated with this process, highlighting its potential for renewable energy generation and sustainable waste management. The research also found that combining diverse organic waste generates a broader pool of macronutrients, which contributes to higher biogas production rates.
