El modelo propuesto está basado en una herramienta que permite a los usuarios realizar sus órdenes de pedido y efectuar el pago antes de llegar a su restaurante y, adicionalmente, el sistema tiene en cuenta una tarifa dinámica asociada a la demanda y al cumplimiento de los tiempos de espera. Por lo tanto, la herramienta permite la interacción entre los restaurantes y los usuarios en forma de negociación para acercarse al logro de las expectativas de unos y otros. |

However, a study made by a group of students from the National University of Colombia revealed that an average student loses about 20 to 30 minutes a day of their time lining up to apply for and purchase their lunch (UN, 2014). This represents approximately 250 hours of wasted time in a 10-semester career, time that students could take to study. Many restaurants have focused their efforts on getting the attention given to their customers better than the one given by the competition, which in resume they look for good care, fast and quality products. However, within these 3 points and according to the figure from the aforementioned study, rapid attention is a key factor that should still be considered to improve the customer experience. That is why the project is focused on modeling a new alternative self-service system from the existing ones; simulate a mobile application where users will be able to execute their order orders resulting in the benefit of reducing their waiting times and finally giving customers a different option from the existing service models offered by restaurant chains. This model was take from the Arrival Time Control (ATC) algorithm (Hong, Prabhu, & Wysk, 2001), which takes the time measure of discrete events and treats it as a continuous variable, adjusting it by the result of a simulation. This method has been found to produce good, feasible schedules with significantly better performance than the dispatching rules in terms of due-date deviation minimization.
