description Durante los años 2019 y 2020, se realizaron dos experiencias de aprendizaje colaborativo virtual (coil, por su sigla en inglés) entre la Universidad del Rosario (ur) y la Universidad Americana del Cairo (auc), en Egipto. La primera, de febrero a mayo de 2019, consistió en el curso de pregrado titulado “La psicología de la guerra y la paz”; y la segunda, de febrero a mayo de 2020, con el curso “Problemáticas psicosociales en contextos colombianos”, asignatura que se articuló con la de la auc titulada “Special Topics in Psychology; Healing Trauma Via Narrative and Art”. De los cursos se evaluó cualitativamente el contenido y la pedagogía del plan de estudios sobre la asimilación de los conceptos de paz y la empatía de los estudiantes con sus pares de la otra universidad, quienes enfrentan conflictos de diferente tipo. El primer curso se impartió en su totalidad virtualmente en tiempo real, usando videoconferencia en línea. El segundo contó con algunas clases virtuales en tiempo real, otras en clases diacrónicas y con foros virtuales permanentes entre estudiantes de ambas universidades, con la mediación de los docentes. En su proceso de prendizaje, los estudiantes respondieron a temas semanales en foros en línea y participaron informalmente en pequeños grupos a través de WhatsApp. Al final del curso, los estudiantes presentaron ensayos reflexivos, de los cuales se realizó un análisis temático. Los resultados del estudio sugieren que los cursos proporcionaron experiencias únicas de construcción conjunta de competencias interculturales desde la psicología para la construcción de paz entre diferentes culturas y países que enfrentan problemas de salud mental relacionados con diferentes tipos de violencias.

The first, from February to May 2019, consisted of the undergraduate course entitled "The Psychology of War and Peace"; and the second, from February to May 2020, with the course "Psychosocial problems in Colombian contexts", a subject that was articulated with that of the auc entitled "Special Topics in Psychology; Healing Trauma Via Narrative and Art ”. The content of the courses and the pedagogy of the curriculum on the assimilation of the concepts of peace and the empathy of the students with their peers from the other university, who face conflicts of different types, were qualitatively evaluated. The first course was delivered entirely in real time, using online video conferencing. The second had some virtual classes in real time, others in diachronic classes and permanent virtual forums between students from both universities, with the mediation of teachers. In their learning process, students responded to weekly topics in online forums and informally participated in small groups through WhatsApp. At the end of the course, the students presented reflective essays, of which a thematic analysis was carried out.
