description Con base en la entrada en vigor del acuerdo comercial entre Colombia – Israel, la economía presenta diferentes connotaciones positivas respecto al sector primario, específicamente el sector frutícola, puesto que se analizaron las implicaciones que conlleva este acuerdo para una posible industrialización del sector frutícola en Colombia. Se identificó la oferta que Israel le puede llegar a brindar a Colombia para este sector en cuanto a maquinaria agroindustrial, lo cual generaría una mejora en los eslabones de la cadena de valor como son proveedores y producción, esto con el fin de que Colombia se posicione en el mercado internacional en el sector frutícola y, de igual forma, la cadena de valor sea de un alto nivel en cuanto a estos productos. Teniendo en cuenta que Colombia quiere implementar valor agregado en su cadena de valor, especialmente en el eslabón de producción, para el futuro tendría consecuencias positivas tanto para Colombia en el sector frutícola como para los países destino ya que con la implementación de maquinarias y tecnología importada desde Israel, no solo se mejorará la producción por parte de Colombia en el sector frutícola sino también se mejorará en los mercados internacionales, a nivel de oferta de productos frutícolas.

The offer that Israel can provide to Colombia for this sector in terms of agro-industrial machinery was identified, which would generate an improvement in links of the value chain such as suppliers and production, so that Colombia can position itself in the international market in the fruit sector and, likewise, competitiveness is at a high level in terms of these products.
