Para emprender esto se tuvieron en cuenta las acciones del sector privado ante los ODS según la Guía del Pacto Global, y se identificaron las que estaban llevando a cabo las empresas, por medio de la aplicación de una encuesta estructurada, de acuerdo a las respuestas obtenidas se evidencia que gran parte de las organizaciones enfocan sus estrategias en la reducción del uso de recursos naturales requeridos para la fabricación de sus productos, y aunque son muchos los procesos que se realizan bajo criterios de sostenibilidad, es fundamental que apliquen en sus actividades aspectos como la incorporación de negocios inclusivos y de algunos objetivos de suma importancia para el desarrollo del sector en las dimensiones sociales, económicas y ambientales del país.
