description Esta investigación tiene como objetivo analizar las oportunidades comerciales del mango colombiano en el mercado canadiense. Para conseguir este propósito el estudio se apoyó en el marco teórico el modelo de integración económica y para su ejecución se basó en la investigación documental que permitió realizar un análisis sobre la caracterización del mango en Colombia, las oportunidades que brinda el tratado de libre comercio a este producto y la tendencia del consumidor canadiense. Los resultados de la investigación arrojan que el mango colombiano tiene una cadena productiva y apoyo de las entidades públicas y privadas que le generan competitividad en el mercado internacional, además, se le presentan grandes oportunidades de expandirse y consolidarse en el mercado canadiense aprovechando el tratado de libre comercio que determina un arancel del 0,0% para la entrada del mango colombiano en Canadá. y la tendencia del consumidor canadiense por la preferencia de alimentos con beneficios para la salud.

To achieve this purpose, the study was based on the theoretical framework of the economic integration model and for its execution it was based on documentary research that allowed an analysis of the characterization of mango in Colombia, the opportunities offered by the free trade agreement to this product and the Canadian consumer trend.
