Una de esas nuevas alternativas está en los biopesticidas, los cuales, pese a ser un remplazo efectivo frente a los pesticidas tradicionales, su desarrollo crece a un ritmo lento. Sin embargo, teniendo presente que este es un mercado potencial para el país, el objetivo de este documento es conocer las posibilidades que tiene los biopesticidas en mercados centroamericanos, como el mexicano y el costarricense, teniendo en cuenta la gran producción agrícola de estos países. La investigación se desarrolló bajo el marco teórico del desarrollo sostenible y la metodología es cuantitativo y descriptiva. Dentro de los principales resultados se encuentra que México es un mercado atractivo para la propuesta.

One of these new alternatives is in biopesticides, which in spite of being an effective replacement for traditional pesticides, their development is growing at a slow pace. However, bearing in mind that this is a potencial market for the country, the objective of this document is to know the possibilities that biopesticides have in central american markets, such as Mexico and Costa Rica, taking into account the large agricultural production in these countries. The research was developed under the theorical framework of sustainable development and the methodology is qualitative and descriptive.
