El objetivo del documento es analizar las posibles oportunidades comerciales en el sector agrícola que existen para Colombia y Finlandia, en el marco del TLC con la Unión Europea. Para esto se utiliza un método cualitativo y una investigación descriptiva, se toman como referencia los periodos de tiempo comprendidos en los años previos 2008-2012 y posteriores 2013-2018 primer semestre; a la firma del TLC, de estos periodos se tomaron los principales productos exportados por cada país durante los mismos y posteriormente se hizo la comparación del intercambio comercial entre los dos países. Se analizaron las cantidades y el valor de las exportaciones de cada país con el fin de destacar cuales son los productos con mayor participación en la relación comercial bilateral. Se encontró que en el sector primario es donde se encuentra el mayor impacto económico en la relación comercial Se evidencian algunos productos agrícolas con gran potencial para incrementar las exportaciones desde Colombia a Finlandia, teniendo esto en cuenta se toman como referencia 3 productos del sector hortofrutícola colombiano, y se compran con los países que más exportan estos productos a nivel mundial, para saber que están haciendo esos países para ser los líderes en esos segmentos. También se encuentra un plan que está desarrollando una organización perteneciente al sector que busca fortalecer la cadena de valor del mismo con el fin de llegar a los mercados internacionales. |

To do this, a qualitative method and a descriptive investigation are used and the time periods included in the previous year’s 2008-2012 and later 2013-2018 first semester are taken as a reference; At the signing of the FTA, these periods were taken as reference the main products exported by each country during the same and then the comparison of trade between the two countries was made. The quantities and value of exports from each country were analysed in order to highlight which products have the greatest participation in the bilateral commercial relationship.
