Las autoras realizaron una metodológica investigación y compilación de datos existentes sobre el desarrollo de la actividad turística en el Cerro. Mediante análisis de información secundaria sobre atractivos turísticos, de las personas interesadas en esta actividad y realizadas visitas de campo, se identificaron intereses de los diferentes grupos o personas que actúan o están incursas en el desarrollo turístico de la zona.
