description	La presente investigación desarrolla el concepto de la hibridación en el cine, entendiendo el impacto histórico, narrativo y estético que esta tendencia tiene sobre la cinematografía. A nivel histórico podemos identificar que es un recurso bastante sustancioso a la hora de cuestionar el lenguaje cinematográfico, pues se ha empleado muchas veces para la creación de discursos políticos, económicos y sociales que rompen fronteras entre géneros y formatos, principalmente entre ficción y documental. Entendida la hibridación como un recurso del cine, la investigación profundiza sobre su definición en la actualidad, se define entonces que este término hace parte del posmodernismo como un discurso que tiene la capacidad de reinventar los cánones de producción contemporáneo al unir formatos, géneros y estilos en un mismo film. En el cine de Colombia, se pueden contemplar varios autores y obras que hacen parte de esta definición de hibridación, películas como Un tigre de papel, Carnea y Pariente, son ejemplo de los cuales nos apoyamos para hacer un análisis y ubicar a la hibridación cinematográfica en nuestro país.
