Para ello se realizará un diseño exploratorio secuencial, en el cual se recolecta información cualitativa y luego datos cuantitativos para su posterior análisis. Con base en lo investigado se determina que las actividades que más afectan al páramo son la agricultura y la ganadería, debido al uso irresponsable de las fuentes hídricas y del suelo, provocando el deterioro del ecosistema. Posterior a esto, se analiza que existe un gran potencial turístico que no ha sido aprovechado de forma responsable y por ello se propone un portafolio de actividades que se pueden desarrollar dentro y fuera del páramo para poder preservarlo con la participación de la comunidad local.
