Para la realización del prototipo de control de Acceso, se evidencio que actualmente las rutas de transporte escolar deben contar con sistemas de GPS, además de herramientas de monitoreo y control, son muy pocos los vehículos que cuentan con esta exigencia legal, con base en esta información, se decidió brindar una alternativa económica y funcional para satisfacer una necesidad que no solo tienen los propietarios de los vehículos, también es una preocupación de los padres de familia al no saber que pasa luego de que la ruta escolar inicia su recorrido. Se propone diseñar e implementar un prototipo que controle el acceso y salida de los estudiantes, el dispositivo utiliza la tecnología GPRS, con la cual, le es posible comunicarse con un servidor que almacena la información a través de la red de comunicación celular, mediante una metodología donde un dispositivo físico ubicado al interior del vehículo escolar, brinda a los estudiantes la posibilidad de registrar su ingreso o salida utilizando el carnet de identificación escolar, con el fin de que se conozca con certeza la fecha, hora y lugar del acceso o salida, de esta forma poder llevar un control y seguimiento por parte de los directivos de la institución o de los padres de familia, con el fin de tener la confianza de que el estudiante se encuentra a bordo del trasporte o ya arribo a su destino, o simplemente que asistió al colegio, además de poder consultar la información en cualquier momento o lugar desde un pc o un dispositivo móvil conectados a internet mediante un link de acceso a un sitio web.
