En el presente trabajo se realiza una aproximación a la relación endógena entre el desarrollo económico de los municipios en Colombia y su tasa de emprendimiento. Por lo tanto, se explora un modelo de dos ecuaciones simultáneas donde las variables endógenas son el PIB del municipio como indicador de su nivel de desarrollo y la tasa de empleadores más cuenta propia con alto grado educativo como variable que representa el emprendimiento, y se utiliza la información del Censo de Población 2005. La estimación obtenida muestra que existe una relación positiva y de doble vía entre el PIB municipal y la tasa de emprendimiento local. |

La estimación obtenida muestra que existe una relación positiva y de doble vía entre el PIB municipal y la tasa de emprendimiento local.In this paper we made an approach to interaction between economic development of municipalities in Colombia and its rate of entrepreneurship. Therefore, we explore a model of two simultaneous equations where the endogenous variables are gdp of the municipality as an indicator of their level of development, and the rate of employers and own-account with high human capital as a variable representing the entrepreneurship, and information from the Population Census 2005 is used.
