Los participantes fueron estudiantes de sexto grado de la Institución Educativa Departamental Pompilio Martínez, ubicada en el departamento de Cundinamarca, municipio de Cajicá Colombia. Los instrumentos para la recolección de datos fueron artefactos de los estudiantes, notas de campo y grabaciones de audio. Su pregunta de investigación nació de la baja producción oral reflejada en el aula y en la evaluación de necesidades. Los hallazgos principales demuestran un aumento importante en la producción oral imitativa de los estudiantes a través del trabajo individual y auto-ajustado con las actividades; Además, las hojas de trabajo basadas en herramientas tecnológicas contribuyeron a reducir la inhibición de los estudiantes para usar inglés en clase. Los estudiantes también se sintieron motivados y comprometidos a trabajar en el aprendizaje de vocabulario y se volvieron mas conscientes de la pronunciación.

Los estudiantes también se sintieron motivados y comprometidos a trabajar en el aprendizaje de vocabulario y se volvieron mas conscientes de la pronunciación.The purpose of this research is to determine, if the use of worksheets based on technological tools, favors the improvement of imitative oral production in sixth grade students. The participants in this study were sixth grade students of the Pompilio Martínez Departmental Educational Institution, located in the department of Cundinamarca, municipality of Cajicá Colombia. The instruments for data collection were students´ artifacts, field notes and audio recordings. The research question emerged from the low oral production reflected in the classroom and reflected in the needs assessment. Main findings show an important increase in students’ imitative oral production through the individual and self-paced work with the activities. Additionally, the worksheets based on technological tools contributed to reduce students’ inhibition to try English in class.
