Summary: | In this manuscript, the unique features of the Millennial generation (Gen Y) in tourism and hospitality services were discussed through Caribbean Millennials. The methodology was literature review on generational differences in the hospitality sector and evaluation of findings. First, the defining characteristics of Millennials were examined compared to the X generation (Gen X). Next, the focus shifted to hospitality services, and their development through the emerging needs of Millennials, such as integrated services with technology and exclusive benefits for personal requirements of tourists, rather than the previous one-size-fits-all hospitality services of the Fordist era. Finally, the paper provided concluding remarks. |
