description El presente trabajo de grado e pretende formular una serie de estrategias que estén alineadas con la propuesta de la “Política Nacional de Humanización de la Salud” (Colombia, Ministerio de Salud 2020) que actualmente el Ministerio de Salud desarrolla y busca implementar con el objetivo de optimizar e impactar favorablemente los procesos de humanización en la atención de los pacientes en tratamiento para COVID-19. También se tendrá como referente para el diseño del documento final las recomendaciones incluidas en el Proyecto Internacional de Investigación para la Humanización de los Cuidados Intensivos “Proyecto HU-CI”, un esfuerzo colaborativo establecido desde 2014, que busca cambiar el paradigma actual hacia una modelo de atención centrado en el paciente y su familia (Velasco Bueno & Heras la Calle, 2020).
