Summary: | This work is based on evidence about the possible difficulties in organizations at managing the resources, skills and knowledge required to properly undertake a process of internationalization. It proposes the design of an appropriate instrument for diagnosing the level of maturity of the organizational capacities of small and medium-sized enterprises of the municipality of Medellin, taking as a specific sample some companies in the sector of technology and innovation. For this purpose, some of the concepts and models associated with the internationalization of companies are discussed. Similarly, the concepts of acquisition, integration and assimilation of knowledge as considered as aspects inherent to each of the organizational capacities of enterprises in the sector, and from the interaction with the external and internal environment show how organizations transform the combination of resources on core competencies and competitive advantages. |
