Summary: | This article is a theoretical review of social entrepreneurship; defined as any business initiative; with or nonprofit; whose primary objective is to generate social value. This is a recent and attractive field of research which progressively makes information gathering; although little of it is empirical. The aim of this review is to identify; relevant research questions from social psychology about social entrepreneurship. From the study of various investigations; possible psychosocial variables are identified; which are required for this type of entrepreneurship; such as individual characteristics; social reasons and a specific work identity. In addition; some looks on society; on the goals of organizations and on psychosocial aspects of organizational behavior are incorporated. |
