| Summary: | The objectives of this article are, on the one hand, to make visible the most representative current studies on “early motherhood”, in order to situate young mothers in the sociocultural debates of today, identifying what is known about them, from where they have been seen and which questions are emerging from each of the studies reviewed. The results of the review of research articles have been thematically categorized, also included is a summary of the theoretical and methodological mainstream of the revised researchers. It is concluded that the study of adolescent motherhood as a social problem focuses on an adult-centric vision of motherhood and youth. |
