description El objetivo general del presente estudio fue analizar las percepciones de un grupo de adultos jóvenes de Cali sobre la crianza parental y su relación con su identidad actual. En una muestra de 9 adultos jóvenes entre los 20 y 30 años, los cuales fueron entrevistados por medio de entrevistas semiestructuradas individuales. Cabe resaltar que el diseño de la presente investigación es narrativo. Los resultados indican que la identidad es un constructo dinámico que presenta diversas variaciones a lo largo del ciclo vital, en donde no influyen únicamente las prácticas de crianza parentales, sino también otros espacios de socialización y otras personas significativas. Asimismo, se evidencia cómo los adultos jóvenes en esta etapa de vida realizan una resignificación de lo que fue su crianza, logrando identificar las herramientas adquiridas que les resultan indispensables para desenvolverse en el mundo.

A total of 9 young adults between the ages of 20-30 were interviewed through an individual semi-structured interview. In addition, this research has a narrative design. The results indicate that the identity is a dynamic construct that presents various variations throughout the human life cycle, where the parenting practices are not the only factors that have an influence on these young adults; socialization and significant others play a huge role in this process as well.
