This article critically a nalyzes the content of this law and draws conclusions on whether this law solves the problems of Colombia’s healthcare systemEn el transcurrir de los años, a partir de la Ley 100 de 1993, muchos han sido los decretos reglamentarios y las reformas legales y constitucionales introducidas a dicha normativa, en busca de la solución a los diferentes problemas para la población, para la profesión de la medicina, para el sector financiero y para el Estado mismo como regulador del sistema. Ahora se pretende mediante ley estatutaria aprobada por el Congreso de la República dar nuevas soluciones a esa problemática.
