The aforementioned could show that the problem of constitutionalism is due to an error in the way in which the question about power is expressed, which would require that the question is re-stated and a new answer sought.El constitucionalismo actual vive una profunda crisis que consiste en haber olvidado su sentido original y no ser capaz de cumplir la finalidad que inicialmente se le asignó. Para intentar entender esa crisis se ensaya un largo rodeo histórico en el que se estudiará una antigua institución judeocristiana: la soberanía divina.
