Dentro de los síntomas que genera este síndrome esta la depresión, la ansiedad, los pensamientos negativos, agotamiento corporal e intelectual, el cinismo y la desmotivación. Esta monografía compilatoria, se basó en los artículos encontrados que vinculaban los factores coligados al síndrome de burnout y sus consecuencias en el sector salud, puntualmente en el gremio de enfermería, destacando que el personal del área de la salud se interrelaciona con los pacientes, los familiares y toda persona que necesita ayuda o que requiere de sus servicios generando así en el gremio de enfermería una inestabilidad emocional, debido a los escenarios de estrés a los que se ven expuestos diariamente en su profesión. Para la organización y estudio de las reseñas obtenidas se diseñó una matriz de información, donde se tuvo en cuenta las categorías deductivas, inductivas y emergentes, que ayudaron a distinguir los elementos claves del análisis de los efectos, y a identificar que el síndrome de burnout es un enemigo silencioso dentro del campo laboral que va agotando emocional y físicamente la salud del trabajador, siendo así necesario que se generen estrategias de apoyo y afrontamiento al personal, ya que son estos la herramienta principal del funcionamiento y la atención sanitaria en las comunidades.Burnout syndrome is currently a known and diagnosed disease in the occupational and labor field, specifically in the health sector, occurring as a response to occupational stress, generating effects on workers that have a negative influence on their family, personal and occupational well-being. Among the symptoms generated by this syndrome are depression, anxiety, negative thoughts, physical and intellectual exhaustion, cynicism and demotivation. This compilation monograph was based on the articles found that linked the factors related to burnout syndrome and its consequences in the health sector, specifically in the nursing profession, highlighting that health personnel interact with patients, family members and anyone who needs help or requires their services, thus generating emotional instability in the nursing profession, due to the stress scenarios to which they are exposed daily in their profession.
