The company Colombina S.A. has motivated these processes through the creation of improvement groups in all areas of the company so that generate projects from the employees themselves considering that these are who have the best knowledge of their job and the existing needs; They can also, based on their experience, carry out proposals for the improvement of the area or process. This work is the development of the implementation project of the scheme of Reverse logistics in the raw material storage center of the company Colombina S.A. which arises from one of those improvement teams; proposal led by the director of this degree work; project that is presented, was implemented and continues to run today showing economic and environmental benefits; also a project that has become a model for other areas of the company and for other companies. The degree work presented below is developed in eight chapters, the first chapter exposes the research problem, objectives, methodology used and the referential framework of the investigation in which the company exposition, history and general information; in the same way expose the authors who have made reference to the subject of reverse logistics and that companies have carried out projects of this nature. The second chapter is developed through the exposition of the stages for the implementation process of the reverse logistics scheme in the center of storage of raw materials of the company; the third chapter does reference to the characteristics of some of the companies that already have implemented the reverse logistics model in its processes, it is exposed what is their activity and in the end it is concluded what are the common factors in these companies and that led them to opt for the development of these activities.Las actividades orientadas a la conservación del medio ambiente, reducción de costos y mejoras en los procesos dentro de una empresa son una actividad que ha llamado la atención de todo el equipo de trabajo constituyéndose en una forma generar participación a través de la generación de ideas y propuestas que conduzcan al mejoramiento continuo. La empresa Colombina S.A. ha motivado estos procesos a través de la creación de grupos de mejoramiento en todas las áreas de la empresa a fin de que se generen proyectos a partir de los propios empleados considerando que estos son quienes tienen el mayor conocimiento de su puesto de trabajo y de las necesidades existentes; además pueden a partir de su experiencia realizar propuestas en pro del mejoramiento del área o proceso. Este trabajo es el desarrollo del proyecto de implementación del esquema de logística inversa en el centro de almacenamiento de materias primas de la empresa Colombina S.A. el cual surge de uno de esos equipos de mejoramiento; propuesta liderada por el realizador de este trabajo de grado; proyecto que se presentó, se implementó y continua ejecutándose en la actualidad mostrando beneficios de tipo económico y ambiental; además proyecto que se ha convertido en modelo para otras áreas de la empresa y para otras empresas. El trabajo de grado presentado a continuación es desarrollado en ocho capítulos, el primer capítulo expone el problema de investigación, objetivos, la metodología utilizada y el marco referencial de la investigación en el cual se hace la exposición de la empresa, historia e información general; de igual forma se exponen los autores que han hecho referencia al tema de logística inversa y que empresas han llevado a cabo proyectos de esta naturaleza.
