De acuerdo con la definición y naturaleza de la sostenibilidad empresarial, una empresa es sostenible cuando crea valor económico, medioambiental, en la actualidad las empresas trabajan en buscar un desarrollo sostenible lo que le permite a la empresa generar una buena imagen, y contribuir a al cuidado y conservación del medio ambiente, de igual forma las empresas aumentan sus ingresos, y mejoran el clima laboral.
