Methodology: a descriptive cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach in the first quarter of 2019, 132 patients hospitalized at the San José Hospital Foundation in the city of Buga, the Patricia Larson Care – Q (Caring Assessment Instrument) instrument was applied which allows measuring patient satisfaction, is divided into 6 categories: "Accessible", "Explains and facilitates", "Provides comfort measures", "Anticipates", "Maintains trust relationship" and "Monitors and monitors". The data processing was systematized in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and later analyzed. As a result, the overall compliance percentage is 87%; the highest categories have been: "Monitor and monitor" with 94%, "Accessible" with 89%; the categories "Maintain a trust relationship" with 83% "are anticipated" with 83% and "Explain and facilitate" with 85% with the lowest results "Provide comfort measures" with compliance percentages of 78%. Conclusions: When evaluating the needs of the patients and their perception through the correct fulfillment of the Nursing functions we conclude that they are highly satisfied with the health services.La calidad de los servicios de salud es un tema de análisis en Colombia, por lo cual la tasa de satisfacción en una IPS permite identificar la calidad de los servicios prestados y el trato recibido a sus usuarios, el objetivo de la investigación es determinar la satisfacción de los pacientes hospitalizados frente a la calidad del cuidado de enfermería. Metodología: estudio de tipo descriptivo de corte transversal con abordaje cuantitativo en el primer trimestre del año 2019, participaron 132 pacientes hospitalizados en Fundación Hospital San José de la ciudad de Buga, se aplicó el instrumento Care–Q (Caring Assessment Instrument) de Patricia Larson que permite medir la satisfacción del paciente, se divide en 6 categorías: “Accesible”, “Explica y facilita”, “Brinda medidas de confort”, “Se anticipa”, “Mantiene relación de confianza” y “Monitorea y hace seguimiento”. Los procesamientos de los datos fueron sistematizados en una hoja de cálculo de Microsoft Excel y posterior a esto se analizaron. Como resultado el porcentaje global de cumplimiento es 87%; las categorías más altas han sido: “Monitorea y hace seguimiento” con un 94%, “Accesible” con un 89%; las categorías “Mantiene relación de confianza” con un 83% “se anticipa” con un 83% y “Explica y facilita” con un 85% con el más bajo resultados “Brinda medidas de confort” con porcentajes de cumplimiento del 78%. Conclusiones: Al evaluar las necesidades de los pacientes y su percepción a través del correcto cumplimiento de las funciones de Enfermería concluimos que se encuentran altamente satisfechos con los servicios de salud.INTRODUCCIÓN / 1.
