Esto se realizó con el método de investigación acción participante, a través de la enseñanza de una unidad didáctica en recreación con varios componentes temáticos transversalizados por procesos interculturales validados socialmente con las comunidades con una población de 25 niños afros pertenecientes a la fundación Afro Raizales por una Vida Digna. Para la recolección de la información se utilizaron entrevistas a profundidad, análisis documental, diarios de campo y talleres pedagógicos, y para el procesamiento de la información se utilizaron la codificación abierta, axial y selectiva. Como resultados principales mediante la triangulación de las categorías se logró realizar una comprensión de la realidad social que viven las poblaciones afro del municipio de Tuluá, tales como, identificación de diferentes problemáticas sociales de la comunidad, diseño de los lineamientos curriculares para el aprovechamiento del tiempo libre y validación del mismo, donde con entrevistas y diarios de campo se obtuvieron diferentes resultado gracias a la aceptación de la actividades por niños, niñas y jóvenes que permitieron concientizar a la población sobre el aprovechamiento del tiempo libre en la sociedad, garantizando un desarrollo de la escuela intercultural con actividades lúdico recreativas en la Unidad Central del Valle (UCEVA).Licenciado (a) en Educación Física, Recreación y DeportePregradoThe "Intercultural School" arose as a possibility of social emancipation of Afro communities located in the municipality of Tuluá, which manifested that they suffer from social exclusion, lack of recognition and the need for their communities to be intervened with training processes in citizen competences for the conservation of cultural identity and inclusion in society, with the objective of generating spaces for the use of free time through recreational and sports processes that seek the empowerment of communities. This was carried out with the participatory-action research method, through the teaching of a didactic unit on recreation with several thematic components mainstreamed by intercultural processes socially validated with the communities with a population of 25 Afro children belonging to the Afro Raizales Foundation for a Dignified life. For the collection of information, in-depth interviews, documentary analysis, field diaries and pedagogical workshops were used, and open, axial and selective coding were used for information processing.
