Clenaghan and David L. Gallague, allowing to evaluate the children and in what stadium they are in his motive development. The investigation places in a field study of descriptive type, The participants constituted by a group of 29 children and girls in ages understood between eight (8) and nine (9) years of the school Jose Juaquin Jaramillo. For his compilation of information there were in use methodological technologies by means of which the necessary information Was obtained. The used technology was the qualitative description. In agreement to the results obtained of the motive basic skills they found the following results: in agreement to the applied test, to the beginning and at the end of the investigation one thought that the children were predominated in an initial and elementary stadium in the different motive skills (to run, to walk, to jump, to throw, to take a short cut and to stamp), by which a program developed on the basis of games was applied to strengthen The development of motive basic skills,El siguiente trabajo de investigación se realizó con el propósito desarrollar por medio del juego las habilidades motoras básicas en los niños y niñas del grado tercero de la Escuela JOSÉ JOAQUÍN JARAMILLO de la ciudad de Tuluá, a través de la aplicación del test de Habilidades Motrices Locomotoras y Manipulativas de Bruce A. Clenaghan y David L. Gallague, permitiendo evaluar los niños y en qué estadio se encuentran en su desarrollo. Los participantes fueron constituidos por un grupo de 29 niños y niñas en edades comprendidas entre los ocho (8) y nueve (9) años de la escuela José Juaquín Jaramillo. Para su recolección de datos se utilizaron técnicas metodológicas por medio de las cuales se obtuvo la información necesaria. La técnica utilizada fue la longitudinal de tipo cuantitativa.
