Para el desarrollo de la investigación se aplicó una encuesta cerrada a sesenta y tres egresados del Programa de Derecho de la UCEVA, a diez empresarios de la región y a diez docentes de esta universidad que también egresaron de este centro educativo. Como resultados de la aplicación de este instrumento se pueden destacar el hecho de que los egresados encuestados se encuentran laborando en áreas relacionadas con el derecho, evalúan en forma positiva los contenidos vistos y las metodologías pedagógicas que utilizan los docentes, consideran que es necesario fortalecer los contenidos en algunas áreas y además que el programa de egresados que funciona en la universidad se vincule más estrechamente con ellos. Los empresarios encuestados requieren con frecuencia los servicios de un abogado para el desarrollo de sus diferentes procesos, sostienen que es necesario que los abogados se especialicen en algún área relacionada con su trabajo para que lo puedan desempeñar mejor. Por su parte los docentes consideran que el contenido y la formación que se imparte a los estudiantes del plan de derecho son suficientes para que estos se desempeñen profesionalmente. Se recomienda que el programa de derecho establezca un contacto permanente con empresarios de la región y con los egresados para conocer las necesidades que se van presentando en el entorno empresarial para enfocar la formación de sus estudiantes hacia estas áreas.Abogado (a)PregradoThis work was raised as objective to assess the quality and relevance of the program of law of the unit Central of the Valley, from the job performance of graduates in various companies of the region. The development of research applied a survey closed sixty-three graduates from the law program of the UCEVA, ten entrepreneurs of the region and ten teachers of this University who also graduated from this school. As results of the application of this instrument can be highlighted the fact that respondents graduates are working in areas related to law, assess positively the viewed contents and pedagogical methodologies that use teachers consider that it is necessary to strengthen the content in some areas and in addition graduates program that operates in the University be linked more closely with them. Surveyed employers often require the services of a lawyer for the development of its different processes, argue that it is necessary for lawyers to specialize in some area related to their work so that they can play it better. Meanwhile the teachers consider that the content and the training that is taught to the students of the law plan are sufficient for these perform professionally.
