Esta revisión de alcance aborda la importancia de la actividad física adaptada y los deportes en silla de ruedas para la población adulta con discapacidad. Se destaca que estas prácticas no sólo ofrecen beneficios físicos, como mejora de la fuerza y la resistencia, sino que también contribuyen significativamente al bienestar psicológico y social de los individuos, aumentando la autoestima y fomentando la socialización. Este documento subraya la necesidad de seguir promoviendo y desarrollando programas de actividad física adaptada y deportes en silla de ruedas para mejorar la calidad de vida y el bienestar de las personas con discapacidad a través de intervenciones con métodos actualizados adaptados a adultos con discapacidad. |

Se destaca que estas prácticas no sólo ofrecen beneficios físicos, como mejora de la fuerza y la resistencia, sino que también contribuyen significativamente al bienestar psicológico y social de los individuos, aumentando la autoestima y fomentando la socialización.
