La presente investigación se enfoca en el análisis de las políticas y prácticas de educación inclusiva implementadas en la Institución Educativa Simón Bolívar de Ibagué, desde sus acciones de seguimiento y evaluación que conlleve a identificar los aspectos a fortalecer como fundamento para la formulación y ejecución del plan mejora permanente. Se desarrolla desde la perspectiva del liderazgo ejercido por la gerencia institucional, como factor determinante en la gestión de procesos inclusivos. Para lo cual, se implementa una investigación de tipo cualitativo, realizando el análisis de documentos institucionales como proyecto educativo institucional (PEI), manual de convivencia, entre otros; así como a partir de un cuestionario a un grupo de docentes, directivos docentes, estudiantes con condiciones diversas y padres de familia; estableciendo como unidades de análisis: la existencia y conocimiento de políticas institucionales en educación inclusiva; la participación en el diseño de las políticas institucionales inclusivas, y las percepciones de la favorabilidad de prácticas inclusivas en la IE hacia el bienestar del estudiante y la relación familia-escuela. Los principales hallazgos indican que la Institución Educativa Técnica Simón Bolívar cuenta con una política de inclusión educativa que responde a las políticas nacionales; más se identifican oportunidades de mejora a nivel de la relación familia – escuela. A partir de lo cual, se presentan algunas estrategias que aporten desde el liderazgo del directivo y con la participación de toda la comunidad educativa, a seguir en procesos de mejora en la atención a la diversidad, promoviendo la igualdad y la inclusión educativa. |

A partir de lo cual, se presentan algunas estrategias que aporten desde el liderazgo del directivo y con la participación de toda la comunidad educativa, a seguir en procesos de mejora en la atención a la diversidad, promoviendo la igualdad y la inclusión educativa.This research focuses on the analysis of inclusive education policies and practices implemented at the Simón Bolívar Educational Institution of Ibagué, from its monitoring and evaluation actions that could lead to identify the aspects to be strengthened as a basis for the formulation and execution of the plan and a permanent improvement. It is developed from the perspective of leadership exercised through institutional management, as a determining factor in the management of inclusive processes. For this, a qualitative research is implemented, carrying out the analysis of institutional documents such as institutional educational project (PEI), coexistence manual, among others; as well as from a questionnaire of a group of teachers, director and principals at the same time, students with diverse backgrounds and parents; establishing as units of análisis , the existence and knowledge of institutional policies in inclusive education; participation in the design of inclusive institutional policies, and perceptions of the favorability of inclusive practices in the educational center towards student well-being and the family-school relationship. The main findings indicate that the Simón Bolívar Technical Educational Institution has an educational inclusion policy that responds to national policies; moreove there are identified opportunities to improve the level of family-school relationship. Due to thisi some strategies are presented that contribute from the director leadership and the participation of the entire educational community, to continue in processes of improvement in attention to diversity, promoting equality and educational inclusion.
