description En el marco del desarrollo del Plan Especial de Educación Rural (PEER) y la observación en el plantel educativo durante varios años, se deriva esta investigación que tiene como objetivo principal fortalecer el acompañamiento escolar en el proceso formativo de los estudiantes de la institución educativa Julio Ernesto Andrade sede La Miranda, Rovira - Tolima durante el año 2022, mediante una propuesta de intervención que aborda talleres presenciales y virtuales con ayudas de herramientas tecnológicas como blog, podcast, canal de YouTube, Facebook y WhatsApp. Para el desarrollo metodológico se optó por el diseño de Investigación Acción-Participativa ya que esta “se enfoca en cambios para mejorar el nivel de vida y desarrollo humano de los individuos” así mismo los aportes de la comunidad son muy importantes en la solución del problema, además se tiene en cuenta su enfoque cualitativo que entiende la realidad desde diferentes particularidades. El análisis de los resultados permitió identificar la importancia del acompañamiento escolar en los estudiantes, el manejo de las emociones en los cuidadores y en los estudiantes y el rol percibido por los cuidadores hacia sí mismos y hacia los demás actores educativos.
