El siguiente documento hace parte de una actividad académica del programa de Arquitectura, desarrollada en el taller X de Opción de grado. En dicha actividad se realiza una intervención urbano – arquitectónica sobre un cuerpo de agua en abandono. Procurando una estrecha conexión con el contexto de la intervención. La intervención a realizar deberá realzar el valor histórico y social de dicho cuerpo de agua. Generando así un impacto urbano – arquitectónico, promoviendo la apropiación de la comunidad. El proyecto se llevará a cabo en el pueblo San Marcos. Localizado al suroeste del departamento de Sucre, en el valle del Rio San Jorge, entre los ríos San Jorge y Cauca. San Marcos es un lugar con mucha relevancia por sus actividades culturales y económicas a nivel nacional. El lote escogido se encuentra ubicado sobre la ciénaga de San Marcos, un cuerpo de agua que bordea a extensión longitudinal el pueblo y es de suma importancia para el sustento económico de esta población. El desarrollo proyectual se divide en 2 fases: La primera comprende la documentación: historia, análisis urbano, diagnósticos, entre otros; y la segunda fase corresponde al diseño: Intervención al medio físico a modo formal y funcional. In this activity an urban-architectural intervention is carried out on a body of water in abandonment. Seeking a close connection with the context of the intervention.
