Summary: | This paper aims to conceptualise green training (GT) and pro-environmental behaviour at higher education institutions (HEIs) due to the increased in GT environmental awareness as one of the essential elements in the construction of the country’s capacity toward sustainable development. Education for sustainable development (ESD) is a space where people and their environment can grow and encourage awareness and deep knowledge toward environmental training and education. ESD is constructed of a pro-environmentally friendly attitude and behaviour for employees who feel like they are a component of green success. It also refers to critical human resource management activities that assist the achievement of environmental objectives. The best way to address environmental problems and protection efforts are to change society’s daily attitudes and pro-environmental behaviour and practices by focusing on GT.. The lack of training on new green technologies was used to diagnose the problem of inadequate sustainability and limited at HEIs. |
