description	El presente proyecto de investigación tiene como propósito general reconocer las afectaciones del ciberacoso en las mujeres universitarias entre 16 a 25 años de la ciudad de Barranquilla-Colombia, además se plantearon objetivos específicos tales como indagar las consecuencias a nivel social, emocional que causa el ciberacoso en mujeres universitarias entre los 16 a 25 años de la ciudad de Barranquilla, identificar las diferentes terminologías utilizadas para denominar el fenómeno de ciberacoso, comprender las prevenciones que usan los estudiantes para evitar ser víctimas del ciberacoso y abarcar los distintos métodos usados para considerar estrategias de prevención y el buen manejo de redes sociales. Para este se utilizó una muestra de 25 mujeres estudiantes universitarias pertenecientes a distintas universidades de la ciudad de Barranquilla, entre las cuales se encuentra la Universidad Simón Bolívar, la Universidad del Atlántico, y la Universidad de la Costa (CUC). Como métodos para la recolección de información se hizo uso de encuestas cualitativas individuales dirigidas a las mujeres universitarias.

Como métodos para la recolección de información se hizo uso de encuestas cualitativas individuales dirigidas a las mujeres universitarias.The general purpose of this research project is to recognize the effects of cyberbullying on university women between 16 and 25 years of age in the city of Barranquilla-Colombia, in addition to specific objectives such as investigating the social and emotional consequences caused by cyberbullying in university women between 16 and 25 years of age in the city of Barranquilla, to identify the different terminologies used to denominate the phenomenon of cyberbullying, to understand the preventions that students use to avoid being victims of cyberbullying and to cover the different methods used to consider prevention strategies and the good management of social networks. For this, a sample of 25 female university students belonging to different universities in the city of Barranquilla was used, including the Universidad Simón Bolívar, the Universidad del Atlántico, and the Universidad de la Costa (CUC).
