The results of this research demonstrate that fake news has a substantial impact on society and politics, potentially influencing individual decisions and electoral outcomes. Additionally, it contributes to the polarization of opinions on key issues. Social media algorithms and the lack of regulation on digital platforms are factors that enhance the spread of fake news. To address this issue, the importance of education and media literacy is emphasized.
