Este volumen -No.3- forma parte de la Colección RSE-RSU, sobre Responsabilidad Social Empresarial (RSE) y Universitaria (RSU), que la Universidad Simón Bolívar lanzó a fines de 2014 con los dos primeros de su serie bibliográfica: Curso Básico de RSE y Líderes Empresariales del Caribe. Se trata, en fin, de uno de nuestros principales proyectos de Responsabilidad Social Universitaria, fortaleciendo así las relaciones entre la Universidad y las Empresas, en este caso con un tema que es de especial interés para ambos sectores: la Responsabilidad Social Empresarial, pilar fundamental del desarrollo. Dicho tema es ahora abordado por Antonio Vives, uno de los más reconocidos expertos de la RSE en Hispanoamérica, quien al conocer este proyecto bibliográfico de tan hondo contenido académico y social no dudó en autorizar la publicación de la presente obra: Gestión de la responsabilidad de la empresa ante la sociedad, una selección personal de sus mejores escritos para los grupos a que acabamos de referirnos. Sin duda, es un honor contar con su presencia en nuestra Colección RES-RSU, la cual alcanza así la gran proyección internacional que hemos querido darle desde un principio en beneficio obviamente de los lectores, de quienes esperamos que formen o consoliden el enorme compromiso con la responsabilidad social en sus respectivas organizaciones. |
