description Este documento, muestra las problemáticas más comunes presentadas en la subcontratación o también conocido outsourcing en la industria de la construcción, más exactamente en el área de estudios y diseños, para posteriormente dar una serie de posibles soluciones a los casos más puntuales que pueden afectar un proyecto, creando un plan de coordinación a subcontratistas para mantener el orden adecuado durante la ejecución de cualquier proyecto de este tipo. El planteamiento de solución y metodología utilizada para la creación de este articulo está basada en experiencias propias a lo largo de la ejecución de cuatro proyectos de estudios y diseños que se ejecutan simultáneamente, teniendo en cuenta los incidentes evidenciados por la falta de un plan de coordinación para este tipo de casos, en el cual se quiere dar a entender la importancia que tiene la gerencia de proyectos en todos los grupos de procesos (Inicio, Planeación, Ejecución, Monitoreo y Control y Cierre).
