Description
Summary:Royalties are resources received by the State for the exploitation of nonrenewable natural resources; these economic resources are sources of encouragement and generators of social and regional development allowing to close gaps in the basic sectors such as Health, Education and Drinking Water. The purpose of this document is to present the General System of Royalties in the provinces of Bajo Magdalena and Sabana de Occidente, comparing budgets between 2012 and 2016 in which the income, expenses and investments obtained from the SGR and that these resources have been used during this time; The province of Bajo Magdalena is made up of three (03) Municipalities Puerto Salgar, Caparrapi and Guaduas are of sixth category and Sabana de Occidente Conformed by the Municipalities of Funza, Mosquera, Facatativá, Bojaca, El Rosal, Cota, Madrid, Subachoque , Zipacon with different categories; By means of a survey to some public officials of the municipalities belonging to the two savannas previously related investigating the impact that have had the resources of the General System of Royalty in the municipalities in which was expressed the perception that is had against the benefits that Municipalities achieve these resources.
