Es así como nace la necesidad de la creación y la buena práctica de los CEDIS (Centros de Distribución), cobrando gran importancia en toda la cadena de suministro, realizando grandes esfuerzos para entregar el producto adecuado, en el lugar correcto, en el tiempo adecuado, y en la calidad adecuada que exige el cliente, con el fin de cumplir con las necesidades a la hora de generarse la venta. En el siguiente articulo busco explicar por medio de la Metodología GS1, adoptado a la operación de la Cadena “Cross Docking” del Cliente cómo uno de sus clientes de cortinas y persianas ha adoptado esta modalidad para acoplarse a las necesidades que tiene actualmente el CEDI en Funza. Reflejando el manejo de años anteriores versus el actual, teniendo resultados satisfactorios para el cliente como para la empresa, obteniendo beneficios en ahorros de tiempos, y reducción en los costos de transporte. Se realizará una descripción sobre cómo ésta empresa de Cortinas y Persianas realizaba sus entregas a CLIENTE antes de que existiera el CEDI, las dificultades que se tenían, los niveles de cumplimiento en las entregas y la calidad de las mismas, en comparación con las entregas actuales implementando el Cross Docking. Se identificará el material que llegaba como faltante, sobrante, trocado y el estado del mismo. El éxito de esta implementación se basa puntualmente en la exigencia de la empresa en sus buenas prácticas de manejo y distribución de materiales, así mismo con un estricto control de entradas y salidas de mercancía hacia el CEDI en Funza.Undoubtedly, one of the most important activities that have and generate added value to the final consumer is the distribution of products and merchandise from the moment they leave their production line until they reach the shelves of each corresponding sector. This is how the need arises for the creation and good practice of CEDIS (Distribution Centers), taking on great importance throughout the supply chain, making great efforts to deliver the right product, in the right place, at the right time , and in the adequate quality that the client demands, in order to meet the needs at the time of generating the sale. In the following article I seek to explain by means of the GS1 Methodology, adopted to the operation of the "Cross Docking" Chain of client, how one of its clients of curtains and blinds has adopted this modality to adapt itself to the needs that currently have the CEDI de Funza. Reflecting the management of previous years versus the current one, having satisfactory results for the client as for the company, obtaining benefits in time savings, and reduction in transportation costs. A description will be made of how this blind and shutters company made its deliveries to before the CEDI existed, the difficulties they had, the levels of compliance in the deliveries and the quality of the same, in comparison with the current deliveries implementing Cross Docking. The material that arrived as missing, left over, changed and the state of the same will be identified.
