description El suicidio es una problemática de seguridad y salud pública, para lo cual Gobierno y empresa privada trabajan conjuntamente para adelantar acciones preventivas que permitan evitar desenlaces fatales. A través de un caso real presentado en un centro comercial en Bogotá se presenta la problemática del suicidio, sus estadísticas a nivel nacional y la probabilidad de ocurrencia de éste en centros comerciales. Se plantean un conjunto de acciones dentro de la gestión de riesgos empresariales en procura de hacer evidente que tan preparados están los centros comerciales para tratar adecuadamente una situación de este tipo.
