Understanding that cyclologistics is still in infancy in Colombia and Latin America, this work also was intended to establish inputs for a private urban transportation cost analysis in order to promote more sustainable operative schemes adoption. First, relevant cases, operational configuration, bikes and vehicles, and market segments were identified for cyclologistics. Then, input parameters and variables for a conventional Cost Breakdown Structure cost assessment were compiled. Wages, personnel, and maintenance costs had a special evaluation. This material is expected to serve as an input for related projects or as a starting point for private sector companies interested in cost evaluation of cargo bikes inclusion as a competitive and sustainable distribution mechanism within their operations.
