También se hace una investigación para aportar al lector mecanismos y factores claves a tener en cuenta para la implementación una la dirección estratégica en la compañía y cómo diseñar una metodología que permita la correcta aplicación de esta. Por último, se expone el punto de vista del autor y las conclusiones de la investigación realizada junto con el material bibliográfico para facilitarle al lector el acceso a fuentes de información primaria y secundaria.
