La mayoría de las empresas manejan varios canales de atendimiento según el mercado al cual pretenden atacar, sin embargo en cada uno se debe garantizar que se esté dando el nivel de servicio acorde al mismo. No siempre se logra que todos los productos tengan el nivel de servicio más óptimo, pero se debe garantizar que las familias que consolidan o complementan otros productos y que además dejan buen margen estén dentro de los niveles adecuados, lo cual no ocurre en el caso de análisis de este artículo que son las mallas electrosoldadas, familia que se entrega junto con las barras figuradas en los pedidos de uno de los canales que deja más margen en las siderúrgicas y es la construcción. La empresa analizada actualmente pierde participación en este mercado debido a que esta familia está muy por encima en tiempos de entrega y no maneja un plan adecuado de producción dejando toda la responsabilidad de entrega de los pedidos a la maquila que en cada zona le atiende esta familia de productos. Por lo anterior en el desarrollo del artículo se establece un análisis de demanda por zona, donde por medio de una política de inventarios clara y el análisis de requerimientos de producción como lo es el MPS, se desarrolla un modelo con base en los estimados y las posibles alertas de los mismos que permita obtener el nivel de servicio mínimo adecuado que es de 8 días (MTS) y máximo de 15 días (MTO) logrando recuperar el % del mercado perdido e inclusive aumentarlo.The delivery time to customers determines how well or poorly the requirements are being met and if this is high it means that the most adequate reading is not being given to the demand of the products or a part of them. Most of the companies handle several service channels according to the market they intend to attack, however in each one it must be guaranteed that the level of service according to it is being given. It is not always possible for all products to have the most optimal level of service, but it must be guaranteed that families that consolidate or complement other products and that also leave a good margin are within the appropriate levels, which does not happen in the case of analysis of this article that are the welded mesh, family that is delivered together with the bars figured in the orders of one of the channels that leaves more margin in the steel mills and is the construction. The company analyzed currently loses participation in this market because this family is far above delivery times and does not manage an adequate production plan leaving all responsibility for delivery of the orders to the maquiladora that each area serves this family of products.
