description	En el presente ensayo de grado se realizó un estudio histórico, normativo, investigativo y de opinión sobre las políticas ambientales para el apoyo y acompañamiento a los colegios oficiales de Bogotá , que realiza la Secretaria de Educación del Distrito desde el año 2008 al 2014 ;para el efecto, se indagó los lineamientos internacionales que sobresalieron en las diferentes cumbre medioambientales , el régimen jurídico nacional que protege el medio ambiente, y la gestión ambiental que realiza la Secretaria de Educación del Distrito. De los datos investigativos, se establece la necesidad de suprimir las actividades obligatorias del Plan Institucional de Gestión Ambiental para colegios oficiales , ya que no responden a los problemas ambientales que enfrenta cada una de las instituciones educativas del distrito, También se busca fortalecer los Proyectos de Ambiente Escolar, puesto que estos proyectos si poseen un fundamento de investigación y participación de toda la comunidad educativa , dicho ello se evidencia que este mecanismo responde a las necesidades ambientales del colegio. Se establece además, que la Secretaria de Educación del Distrito ,debe fortalecer sus prácticas ambientales en los colegios distritales ,mediante la promoción del cuidado ambiental con pedagogía. Bajo esta perspectiva doy a conocer el contenido del ensayo, y lo pongo bajo la lupa de la sana crítica y constructiva del lector.

From the research data, the need to remove the mandatory activities of the Institutional Environmental Management Plan for public schools is established, because do not correspond to the environmental issues facing each of the educational institutions of the district, also seeks to strengthen Projects school environment, being as these projects have a foundation of research and participation of the entire educational community, said it is evident that this mechanism responds to the environmental needs of the school. It further provides that the Secretary of Education District should strengthen this environmental practices in district schools, by promoting environmental stewardship with pedagogy.
