La deforestación considerada como la perdida de cobertura forestal, es un fenómeno que durante los últimos treinta años ha afectado de manera considerable el territorio nacional en especial las zonas de bosques naturales, una de las principales causas de este fenómeno es la presencia de cultivos ilícitos en áreas cada vez más pequeñas y en zonas dispersas y alejadas que no permitan su fácil identificación y posterior destrucción, siendo la zona de la Amazonia una de las más afectadas por este fenómeno, el presente trabajo está orientado a analizar los cambios de área de as coberturas terrestres y en especial la zona de bosque del Parque Natural La Macarena y sus alrededores en un periodo de tiempo de 25 aproximadamente, a través del análisis de imágenes satelitales landsat, realizando la identificación de los usos existentes en la zona, una clasificación supervisada seleccionando muestras en las imágenes de cada una de las coberturas analizadas y con los resultados obtenidos, establecer las áreas totales y los cambios presentados a través de este periodo de tiempo. |
